From Fiesta to Transit
A hand wash suits every Ford for the same reason: the person washing it can see what the vehicle actually needs. A Fiesta on a school run and a Transit off a building site do not want the same treatment. Every car here is washed by hand using the two-bucket method — one bucket of pH-neutral shampoo, one of clean rinse water with a grit guard — with wheels cleaned first using separate brushes and mitts so nothing off the road ever goes back onto the paint.
Faded plastic trim and older paint
Ford's unpainted bumper inserts, arch trims and mirror caps go chalky grey with UV exposure. A plastic trim dressing brings them back to a deep black and holds for weeks. On older solid-colour paint, a hand polish and wax as part of the Gold Valet makes a dramatic difference on the bonnet and roof where fading is worst.
Working vehicles
Rangers and Transits get the same care outside, plus attention to the places work vehicles actually get dirty: step plates, door shuts, load bed edges and the driver's side floor. Van washing starts at £25 exterior, and we run recurring schedules for small fleets.
