Needham Hand Car Wash

Dealer preparation and forecourt valeting in Suffolk

A car that photographs well sells faster and holds its price. Sales prep is a different job to a customer valet: it is about the details a buyer inspects and the camera picks up.

What photographs badly and how we fix it

Three things ruin forecourt photos: smeared glass, dull flat paint, and dirty wheel barrels visible through the spokes. All three are hand work. Glass is polished, not just wiped; the paint gets a hand polish and wax so it reads deep rather than chalky under a phone camera; wheels are cleaned face and barrel.

Details buyers actually check

Experienced buyers open the boot, lift the floor, look at the spare wheel well, run a finger along the door shuts and look inside the fuel flap. A car that is clean in those places tells a buyer it has been looked after. That is what sales prep is really selling.

Engine bays

A cleaned and lightly dressed engine bay does more for buyer confidence than almost anything else at this price point. We clean carefully around electrics rather than blasting the bay, and dress plastics to a satin finish — not a wet, over-shiny look that suggests something is being hidden.

Trade rates and turnaround

Sales prep starts at £35 per car and is quoted by size and condition. Regular trade customers get a fixed rate and agreed drop-in days so a car is never sitting waiting to be photographed.

Frequently asked

Do you offer trade rates?+

Yes, for dealers putting cars through regularly. Call us with your typical weekly volume and we will quote a per-car rate.

Can you do machine paint correction?+

We do hand polishing, which reduces the appearance of swirls and lifts gloss significantly. Full machine correction on badly swirled paint is a specialist job and we will tell you honestly when a car needs it.

How quickly can you turn a car round?+

A full sales prep is a same-day job when booked in. Regular trade customers get agreed slots so nothing waits.
